(304): But why is there no point in liking him? Does he have herpes? Is he married? Is he gay? Did he get his penis chopped off in a freak accident? If the answer is no to all of the above, then he is fair game
Honestly, When is a guy no longer fair game??? There are so many fish in the sea but the reality of the situation is that every guy has a past, every guy has an ex girlfriend, or an ex fiance, or some skeleton in the closet. Is it only okay to pretend the past didn't happen if you don't know the people from his or her past?
Essentially does this mean that every time I break up with a guy I have to come up with a completely new circle of friends to hang out with in order to try to find a new possible mate? When you think about it that way it seems absolutely ridiculous. This world is just too small these days with Facebook, Blackberry's, and internet networking to be able to really get away from your ex and move on to someone new who doesn't know your past. It just doesn't work like that anymore.
The other side to this double edged sword though is being the ex: how would you feel if your ex started dating someone you knew? Wouldn't this absolutely rip your heart out and throw it down the garbage disposal? I know it would for me... Really we are just all screwed...
